Inn Policies

• Smoking is not permitted in the inn.  We offer designated smoking areas outside. 
  Should you smoke inside, any cleaning, repair of damages attributed to smoking
  inside will be charged to your credit card or billed to you.
   
• Burning candles is not permitted in accordance with fire department regulations.
   
• Pets are not allowed in our inn, on our grounds, or in the parking lot.
   
• We regret that we are unable to host infants or children.  Young adults over the age
  of 12 are welcome.
   
• The Sonoma County Health Department prohibits the use of our inn kitchen by anyone
  other than inn staff.  We do provide a guest refrigerator for your use and bottled water in
  your guest room.
   
• The use of our facilities and the food and beverage that we provide are for the enjoyment of
  paying guests of the inn only. Our licenses do not permit us to serve non-guests. Please do
  not invite your friends to visit during our hospitality times.
   
• A 50% deposit is required on two or more night stays.  A 100% deposit is required for
  all one night stays regardless of number of rooms reserved.  For special events and reservations
  of all of our guest rooms, the balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.  For regular reservations, the
  balance is due upon arrival. 
   
• We currently do not have a computer or printer available for guest use.  Please print driving directions
  in advance of arrival.  Please plan to print your boarding passes at your departure airport.  We
  are unable to print them for you at the inn.
   

Cancellation Policy:

We, at Calderwood Inn do our best to honor any special requests, but due to the limited
number of rooms and situations beyond our control, this occasionally is not possible.  Also
due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly, so we must strictly adhere to
our policies.

• ALL RESERVATIONS CANCELLED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF ARRIVAL WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE
  FULL PAYMENT OF ALL NIGHTS RESERVED.  If we are able to resell your room for all your room
  nights, we will refund your monies minus a $20 per room, per night handling fee.
   
• A 14 day cancellation notice is required to receive a deposit refund for most reservations.  Holiday
  and event weekends have a 21 day cancellation period for single room reservations.  Deposits
  are refunded minus a $20 cancellation fee for each room and for each night reserved providing
  we receive your cancellation notice outside the cancellation period.
   
• Group bookings have up to a 60 day cancellation period depending upon the number of rooms
  reserved.  Please contact us for details.  Deposits are refunded minus a $20 cancellation fee for
  each room and room night reserved providing we receive your cancellation notice outside the
  cancellation period.
   
• If you cancel within the cancellation period but greater than 7 days prior to your arrival date, your
  deposit will be forfeited unless we are able to resell your room(s) for all room nights.  If we are able
  to resell, then the above refund policies will be activated.
   
• Reducing the number of a days of a stay is considered the same as a cancellation and you will
  be subject to the same policy as stated above.  The minimum stay requirement will still apply.
   
• Arrivals later than your scheduled arrival date are considered a cancellation and monies will not
  be refundable unless the room(s) are resold.  Cancellation fees will still apply.
   
• Departure before your scheduled departure date is also considered a cancellation and monies will
  not be refundable unless the room(s) are resold.  Cancellation fees will still apply.
